First things to do to get your farm started!

I am now level 102 with two huge thriving farms, tons of colorful sheep, decorations, and most of the mastery signs. How did I do this? You may ask this question. It wasn't that hard and I'll divulge a lot of my tips and tricks for absolutely free! Why pay money to get those silly, 'How to level in Farmville' guides when you can simply get the best information for free! Now -- I will start with a sub-section of levels a day plus hints for higher players that are currently breeding foals or other in game 'mini games' like sheep breeding. First topic:

Neighbors: Neighbors are how you really advance in Farmville! They send you gifts, give you things you need to build those pesky buildings, and some can become your best friends. I used "Farmville Neighbor Finder" (type it in the top search box) and got lots of new neighbors. At current, I have over 80 neighbors. Out of these neighbors about 10 have become very close friends. So, you not only get what you need for your farm, but you get a chance to meet others from all over the world!

Best types of Plants to use at the Beginning:  Though you may be VERY tempted to start planting the quick plants (strawberries, etc.) these plants do not reap you much reward in coins or XP. I suggest new players ALWAYS start with soybeans! They only cost 15FC (farmville coins) to plant and reap you 63 net coins. So you get 300%+ profit margin. With something like strawberries you get less than 100% profit.  They do take a WHOLE day to reap, but they will give you fast coins, fast XP, and you can do other things while you wait for the plants to mature.

Visit Visit Visit:  Always make sure to visit each neighbor once a day (this is the daily limit). This gives you free XP (5), free coins, and you have a chance to get mystery eggs from their chicken coops. These eggs often contain very useful items. You will do a few things on your neighbors farms and these are what I suggest. Things you can do upon a visit are always highlighted in a cyan color and some are in the upper left corner! Now, I will explain what you should do upon each visit!

Fertilize those 5 plots:  The benefit to this is often free fuel (though you won't need it in the beginning it becomes crucial later in the game). Also, you gain 1XP for each plot plus 10 coins. Sometimes, you will receive a "fertilize all" boost which will help you get more bushels when you harvest your plants.
Feed those chickens: Always feed the chickens! You get 100 coins and the chance to receive a mystery egg. The items from the eggs can range from collectibles, cool items to place on your empty farm, and even 10 free fuel refills!
Fill the animal pen: While you are there stop and fill their pen with animal feed. While you might not have a pen yourself yet you can hoarde the feed for when you do. Plus, it gives you some extra farm coins!
Reap from their greenhouse: This is VERY good for new players that have higher level neighbors. The greenhouses currently give you 5 of the seed to plant. These seeds ARE FREE to plant and give you a lot of coins once they mature. Also, there is no level cap to plant them and usually they give you a LOT of XP!
Leave a Gift:  Finally, leave a gift! There is an icon in the top left to leave them a 'mystery gift' that they will need. Most times, they will return the favor!

Not only does visiting neighbors get you XP, coins, and gifts; it also lets you see different farms so you can get an idea of what you might want to do with your own! My farm has tons of items and I'll let you see a quick clip of it so you can see my level, Farm Coins, and designs! I hope you have enjoyed this so far!
